The saree is pre-washed before the Kalamkari design is printed.

Each saree takes around 7–10 days to make, from the printing process to finishing.

Hand-printed, not machine-perfect: You may notice slight irregularities in the prints, tiny ink spills or variations in the design. These are not flaws — they are little marks of the human hands that made your saree. That’s the beauty of handmade Kalamkari.

Dried on sand: As part of the traditional process, the saree is dried on sand. So you may occasionally find a few tiny sand particles on the saree. It’s not dirt and it will go away with washing — it’s simply part of the making process.
